The MSH5 deck sweeper sail has finally been released. Used by Pete Burling, Scott Babbage and Harry Mighell at the 2017 Moth Worlds and by Nathan Outteridge to win the 2018 Australian Nationals, and by AMAC for 3rd in the 2019 Australian Nationals.

Developed initially by Harry and AMAC and refined over the last 18 months by Amac, it is now very sweet.

  • The speed gain from the MSL17 is massive and has leapfrogged the opposition.
  • Now with lightweight carbon tube battens.
  • Requires the MSH5 mast or modification of current mast. No need to remove the compression bars if 2.3.

The MSH5 is designed for the Mach2.5 and up with the MSH5 mast or an older mast cut to the lengths shown. For the 2.3 wing bars cut 150 mm from top of old mast, none from bottom, or for 2.0 wing bars cut 110 mm from the top.
