At the age of ten I began surfing on a little lake. Windsurfing was fascinating for me, so that I spent much time on getting better. Soon I took part in a few competitions: First at some longboardraces in the national league, then in 1996 I in the Super 8 shortboard series and was quite successful.

In the following year I participated in the German Formel 25. My enthusiasm for surfing has kept growing ever since. I then joined the highest German series (DWC). Fortunately I became Lorch-teamrider in 2002, and the KA Team in 2003 so that I am now able to finish among the top ten.
