What is it?

The Koyote is a dedicated freeride weapon.

Designed to provide high performance without cambers, the Koyote delivers a refined and stable ride for sailors looking for the ultimate in bay, lake and ocean blasting.

Taking its heritage from the all conquering Koncept, the Koyote provides easy power over an extended range in a lightweight, easy tuning package.

Make no mistakes its fast - 40+ knots GPS certified.

If you need easy speed, lightweight performance and great range the Koyote will set you free.

Design and construction..

The shaping gives progressive twist for great control and stability without sacrificing early planing.

Built with a graduated open weave x-ply body and close weave x-ply upper panels supplemented with solid x-ply head and foot panels, careful consideration has gone into optimising the strength / weight ratio.

New stepped clew allows for shorter boom lengths while keeping a solid feel in lighter winds.

What's New..

  • 100% combination X-ply body - No MonoFilm!
  • Subtle but significant adjustments to profile - enhanced stability without sacrificing easy speed
  • 5.3m Added
  • New mid stiffness carbon battens
  • Stepped clew - shortens boom without losing power or stability
  • Raised tack pulley to get sail lower to the deck
  • Added Kevlar leech strip and enhanced mini battens
  • New Kevlar mast foot pad

Colour options: Red/Blue/Orange

Feedback:

Russell Dowd, Tasmania:
Got out on the 5.3 very happy, this could be a winner with the crew down here. Lots of guys liked the grid and the top speed and pointing ability was fantastic.

Martin Love, Victoria:
Used the Koyote 5.3 production sail for the first time today. It's really nice. Somehow need to spread the word about those things, I am sure they will be really popular once you can convince people to try them

Craig Spottiswood, Victoria:
Got 41.2 knots at Sandy Point in dying winds!

Richard Lockwood, West Australia:
Rigged up the 6.6 today and flogged around at Dutch Inn. Love the sail. It is so smooth and light. Collected a gaggle of admirers who thought it looked the goods- and since I was the last sailor standing before the dark side (kiters) descended, it was testimony to how good it is.
