The 2007 Kaos not only looks the part, but is also a top performer. The profile has been tweaked for better control by making it fuller down low and forward, with a flatter head and reduced head batten angle. The new plan form allows you to quickly depower and provides an excellent balance between power, weight and durability.
Construction is a combination of kevlar sandwich perimeter with a clear x-ply body and solid x-ply. The material choice optimizes strength and durability but provides a lightweight, soft feel. There are also some really handy additions like the new integrated mast protector, tie-strap and the batten key is now located inside the luff pocket.
The Kaos possesses a quality that you rarely see in a wave sail stability. It consistently responds the way you expect it to, encouraging riders to try new tricks, and allowing experienced sailors to hit new heights. This sail is really something special.
The new Kaos is more compact than the 2006 one and a bit more powerful. The sail starts to plane very fast. It turns very nice and is super direct. It is made for fast rides down the line and feels neutral on the wave. The new design makes it definitely to an eye catcher on the water. Great Wave Sail!!!

This year we had some really strong winds and i have put the smaller sails of my kaos quiver well and truely thru the ringer, and hitting the water after a double forward loop attempt on a 3.7 Kaos, puts about as much pressure on a sail as a Bells beach monster, so i was impressed to find it come out with only one broken batten . Between all the local crew and myself the Ka sails look good and do everything any hardcore wavesailor expects and more, thumbs up from me lookin forward to next years.

the word, they kick ass hard! And I am not just saying that to fit
in as a team rider. The first time I rode them, the wind was moderate
but they were so punchy, I was concerned they would over power...but
NO, man, they are so stable it is FREAKY....whatever you did you
did it right. You must ahve put the magic elixir in the sails. People
are noticing them, so I think soon KA will take over the world.

Did not have the 5.3 yet so had to sail the 4.7. It felt great and still had enough power and control when rigged loose. It also got me around for my first claimed and witnessed forward loop. Extremely happy!

Warranty
KA warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. KA will repair or replace any product deemed by KA to be defective, provided the original purchaser makes a claim within 6 months of the date of purchase from KA or an authorized KA reseller or agent. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, improper care, damage caused when transporting or storing the product, or damage arising from alterations. Claims for incidental damage or consequential loss are specifically excluded from this warranty. To make a claim, please contact us, specifying the nature of the defect, and attach digital photographs to support your claim. Do not return the product unless you are instructed by KA to do so; KA will not accept freight charges on returned goods without prior arrangement.
