Koncept Dominates Speed Week 2006

4-12 November, 2006
Sandy Point, Victoria, Australia

A huge crowd turned up to the Pit at Sandy Point to enjoy another shot at speed stardom in Speedweek 2006.

The KA team was out in force at Speedweek. Many Ambassadors made the trek to join Tony Wynhoven, Andrew Daff, Spotty and Andrew McDougall at the KA house. Chris Lockwood and Peter Dans made the trek from W.A., while Tim Hemer came from S.A.

Sandy Point never delivered on its full potential during the event but plenty of quick times were turned in.

The final results were:

  • =3rd: Peter Dans

(Note the top 3 all sailed on KA Koncepts, actually 7 of the top 10 were on KA Sails)
