We have temporarily lost Chris to one of the bigger players in this windsurfing game, NP.

I say temporarily because I know he will be back. We enjoy working together too much.

I have to admit it is a blow to KA and me. He has been a huge help with the sails and of course the key developer with the fins (and still will be working with us on fins)

Chris has achieved some amazing results and has taken the Koncept to the fastest sail in the world with his 47.2 knot average, the all time fastest all time on gps-speedsurfing.com.

I would have no regrets if he had just gone because they could afford him and we could not, but we did not finish the sails that he wanted for the World Speed Sailing Champs at Kapathos.

We made his sails, they were close, but I did not like them so redesigned… too late. I should have just sent them, they were good.

We wish him well with the new sponsor that gets him sails on time. He deserves to do well.

Not only is he an awesome and fearless rider, his technical, computer and analytical skills make him the full package. Go Chris!

When you return to us, make sure you let me know the consequence of my obsession with perfection!
