KA Wave Fins

The KA Wave Series features three models all designed by KA head designer Andrew McDougall in conjunction with the KA international team and shaped using McFin design tools.

The foils have a thinner connecting section between the base and tip which has proved to be give the optimum dynamics for wave riding.

Built from high density G10 laminate and precision CNC machined, the KA fins are available in 21cm, 22cm & 23.5cm

Feedback:

Kristian Sexton, Hawaii, USA:
The fins work great. I replaced the 22cm fin that came with my 84 liter Goya. The board is much easier to get vertical on the wave and way looser off the top. Still just as fast and quick to get up and planing. Can slide the tail out when you want, but isn't sliding all over the place when you just want to do a hard cutback. Nicely done!

Cam Owen, West Australia:
I have to say well done on the fins, used one of them last night at Scarborough and it was awesome. Tried a 22cm fin on an 87 board with 5.7 Kaos and it really livened it up (replaced the factory 23.5cm). On the wave it was heaps looser, forgiving, really helped keep speed and control out of the bottom turn. I was actually pretty stoked can't wait to get it on to some decent waves.
